A personal service from our team
Weatherbys Hamilton operates from five offices; near Newmarket and Swindon, in Wellingborough and London, and most recently Penrith. From all these locations we are ideally placed to visit our clients at home or in their offices and to provide the hands-on personal service that is our hallmark. Each office can access our complete range of insurances and all aspects of your account will be handled from one office. All five are linked by a common telephone and IT system which enables the full resource of the firm to contribute seamlessly to the personal service that we provide. Every member of the Weatherbys Hamilton team is dedicated to providing the best possible personal service that they can and to establishing a relationship that makes insurance as straightforward as possible for our clients.
Weatherbys Hamilton, StetchworthThe Stetchworth office is located on a farm just outside Newmarket, which has the largest concentration of race horses and breeding stock in the UK in and around it. Ideally situated to interact directly with the racing industry, the office services clients all over the country as well as being home to our finance department.
Chief Executive, WH Dullingham35 years ago I turned to insurance as the employer of last resort and Weatherbys Hamilton is the culmination of a career that has morphed through Bradstock Hamilton, Hamilton & Partners and Lycetts. My focus has always been on providing clients with the personal service that I want to receive myself and in Weatherbys I have the perfect partner. Outside the business, my passion is the West coast of Scotland which sits deep in my DNA. email: firstname.lastname@example.org mobile: 07768 354135 telephone: 01638 563444
Partner, WH Dullingham5 years of ‘making the tea’ for the legendary bloodstock agent David Minton gave me my start and the ensuing 18 years at the British Bloodstock Agency, Hamilton & Partners and Lycetts proved no less entertaining. I am extremely fulfilled by providing the best possible service to our bloodstock clients and take a great interest in them and their horses. Planning my next trip to an exotic location occupies quite a few of my waking hours! email: email@example.com mobile: 07810 480706 telephone: 01638 563444
Partner, WH DullinghamI have been lucky to work in the private client sector for my whole career. After 15 years excellent experience insuring high profile clients with Gauntlet, Hamilton & Partners and Lycetts, it is very easy to be motivated by the ethos of Weatherbys Hamilton. I thoroughly enjoy winning new business and establishing relationships founded on trust and integrity. Family life currently means that golf, shooting and fishing have to take their turn, but hopefully not for ever! email: firstname.lastname@example.org mobile: 07503 671649 telephone: 01638 563444
Partner, WH DullinghamStrangely enough the novelty of falling off horses for a living wore off after 12 years and I swapped one set of risks for another when embarking on a career at Willis Faber. Its happy conclusion is Weatherbys Hamilton where I particularly enjoy the interaction with clients, insuring their houses and horses and anything else they need. I am an enthusiastic sailor, skier and dog walker, with all the time that I save by not playing golf! email: email@example.com mobile: 07717 804854 telephone: 01638 563444
Financial Controller, WH DullinghamHaving grown up in a farming family, I chose a calculator over a combine and qualified as an accountant (ACCA) in 1999 whilst in practice with Stephenson Davies in Ely. I joined Hamilton & Partners in 2002, continued on to Lycetts and then joined Weatherbys Hamilton at its inception in January 2012. The Times crossword, horseracing and cricket are major interests and as a member of the Barmy Army have seen my fair share of triumph and disaster. email: firstname.lastname@example.org mobile: 07887 607620 telephone: 01638 563444
Insurance Executive, WH DullinghamI joined The British Bloodstock Agency’s insurance department at the tender age of 19 and if anybody had told me then I would still be insuring horses 25 years later, I would have called for the men in white coats. I really enjoy Weatherbys Hamilton and no two horses, or indeed clients, are the same. I have dabbled in car racing along the way but a husband and two children now give me two full time jobs! email: email@example.com mobile: 07557 343506 telephone: 01638 563444
Trainee Account Handler, WH DullinghamAfter my formative years in Co. Westmeath and then at UCD, I graduated from The National Stud Diploma course in June 2015. No one was more surprised than me when WH offered me an internship for the sales season and was really thrilled when that turned in to a permanent position. I thoroughly enjoy being involved in all aspects of insurance, from houses to horses, and love the buzz of living in Newmarket in the thick of the racing industry. email: LGibsonBrabazon@weatherbyshamilton.co.uk telephone: 01638 563444
Weatherbys Hamilton, SwindonThe Swindon office is located on an office park at South Marston, just off the main Swindon – Cirencester road. It has close links with the racing centre of Lambourn but the nearby road and rail network give it very good access to most of the UK and particularly the West and South West.
Partner, WH SwindonSix years in recruitment wasn’t a hard act to folIow and I joined Hamilton & Partners in 2005, running its Marlborough office after it became part of Lycetts. As a founder partner of Weatherbys Hamilton, I get a huge buzz out of the business and finding that we make a real difference to our clients and their insurances. Life in the Lambourn Valley with my wife and two young daughters means that work and play are very enjoyably intertwined. email: firstname.lastname@example.org mobile: 07585 948297 telephone: 01793 847333
Partner, WH SwindonAfter a great short service commission in The Scots Guards, I gained 10 years invaluable experience with Lycetts in Charlbury. In 2014, I helped to start Howden Private Clients but the merger with RKH created a corporate juggernaut which wasn’t for me. The opportunity to join Weatherbys Hamilton was perfect and provides me with the best of every world – a culture that is just as attractive to my clients as it is to me. email: email@example.com mobile: 07827 291624 telephone: 01793 847333
Partner, WH Swindon
30 years with the NFU, 25 of them as the Group Secretary at Wotton-Under Edge near Cirencester, has been the perfect preparation to help Weatherbys Hamilton increase its already considerable presence in the private client market. My itchy feet coincided with WH’s new focus on farms and estates and I feel very lucky still to be able to live and work in a community with which I am so familiar and yet be part of such an exciting firm. email: firstname.lastname@example.org mobile: 07747 763045 telephone: 01793 847333
Insurance Executive, WH Swindon
Sadly I have never wanted to do anything else! I started my career as an underwriter with Trinity insurance but moved into broking in the early 90’s. Specialising in household and motor I joined Hamilton & Partners in 2002 and followed the flag to Weatherbys Hamilton. I particularly enjoy working with a group of people that know each other so well and forging relationships with clients. I am that rare combination of an obsessive decorator and frustrated linguist. email: email@example.com mobile: 07818 110469 telephone: 01793 847333
Insurance Executive, WH SwindonThere are probably worse apprenticeships for life than six years as an assistant trainer, first to Charles Egerton and then to Alan King. I was very lucky that the opportunity to change tack and join Weatherbys Hamilton in 2012 came at just the right time for me and I thoroughly enjoy coming at the racing world from a different angle. My adrenalin rush is still satisfied by riding and skiing whenever possible. email: firstname.lastname@example.org mobile: 07733 375401 telephone: 01793 847333
Insurance Executive, WH Swindon
I have spent most of my career in private client insurance, working for brokers in and around Swindon. I particularly enjoy the interaction with clients, getting to understand their requirements and helping to make their lives as easy as possible. The Weatherbys Hamilton “ can do” ethos is unlike anything I have experienced before and permeates everything we do. It is great fun to be part of a firm that is so obviously going places. email: email@example.com telephone: 01793 847333
Weatherbys Hamilton, WellingboroughWellingborough is the home of Weatherbys and Weatherbys Bank and Weatherbys Hamilton has an insurance office in the main building. This gives us invaluable access to the full resource of those companies and enables us to add considerable value to the insurance services that we provide.
Manager, WH Wellingborough
A keen interest in sport took me to Kempton 30 years ago and the racing bug bit me. Some nine years later I landed my dream job at Weatherbys and have never looked back. Since 1997 I have worked in the insurance division which has now evolved so excitingly in to Weatherbys Hamilton and is a combination that really does give our clients the best of both worlds. Favourite day at the races – a winter trip to Leopardstown. email: firstname.lastname@example.org mobile: 07764 153234 telephone: 01933 440077
Communications Director, WH Wellingborough
The City and South Africa gave me insurance experience and a wife! For the next 20 years Weatherbys Insurance fell under my remit but I could not be more thrilled with the way that Weatherbys Hamilton has developed in a short space of time. Whilst I am also Communications Director of Weatherbys, I am very much involved on Weatherby Hamilton’s Board and really enjoy the continued involvement with clients who are still generous enough to think that I know something about insurance! email: email@example.com mobile: 07850 025835 telephone: 01933 440077
Partner, WH Wellingborough
I forsook the City for Newmarket early on, but the two year olds didn’t appreciate Falstaff on their back, and I became Clerk of the Course at first Sandown and then Ascot before joining Weatherbys in 2004 as Client Relations Director. I am now delighted to be a Partner in Weatherbys Hamilton, where I thoroughly enjoy maintaining relationships with clients and introducing new ones to a firm that has rapidly become such a major force in private client insurance. email: firstname.lastname@example.org mobile: 07885 505407 telephone: 01933 440077
Insurance Executive, WH Wellingborough
Joining Weatherbys in 1989 was my introduction to the world of work; over 25 years later I’m still here, which says everything. I really enjoy the culture and camaraderie of a firm that has professionalism and quality of service firmly at its core. When I’m not slaving away, my idea of heaven is to be at Sadler’s Wells watching contemporary dance and dreaming of what an amazing choreographer I would have been! email: email@example.com mobile: 07775 700422 telephone: 01933 440077
Insurance Executive, WH Wellingborough
Loving horses and in particular racing, I found my dream job after graduation when I joined the Weatherbys Racing Department in 1995, transferring to Weatherbys Insurance in 2003. Over 20 years later I am still here and greatly enjoy being part of Weatherbys Hamilton. No day is the same and it is exciting to deal with so many high profile owners and horses. Other interests include reading, theatre and cinema when not chauffeuring my children around the county! email: firstname.lastname@example.org telephone: 01933 440077
Insurance Executive, WH Wellingborough
Horses have always been my passion. Via Lambourn, a Northamptonshire stud farm and the Pytchley Hunt, I found my way to Weatherbys in 2002. From a start in Weatherbys Insurance, the creation of Weatherbys Hamilton has moved my career up a gear and I love the interaction with owners and being part of a team that is so committed to what it does. Deep down I would really like to be a folk singer, but I think the world can be spared a little longer! email: email@example.com mobile: 07785 461459 telephone: 01933 440077
Weatherbys Hamilton, LondonOur London presence is in the Weatherbys Bank office in Sackville St, Mayfair. This is an extremely convenient location for meetings and also enables us to provide an immediate personal service to any clients who live in London or are visiting for other reasons.
Account Executive, WH LondonGood things definitely come to those who wait. After five years as a chartered accountant with PWC in London and Sydney, I left number crunching for head hunting and established HFG in Asia. When the heat finally got too much, the chance to join Weatherbys Hamilton as its representative in Mayfair was heaven sent. Relating to our clients and what we insure for them includes many of my personal interests and suits me down to the ground. email: firstname.lastname@example.org mobile: 07827 297072 telephone: 0207 292 9029
Weatherbys Hamilton, PenrithOur Penrith office is a very exciting development for us and is perfectly positioned to look after clients in the North of England and Scotland. It complements the reach of our other offices and enables us to deliver the personal, hands-on service, which we regard as our hallmark.
Partner, WH Penrith
Cirencester, Knight Frank and 5 years with the NFU Mutual in Lancaster gave me a classic grounding and a real enjoyment of farm & estate insurance in particular. The chance to open an office for WH on my home ground in Penrith was too attractive to keep me at Howdens after the merger with RKH. It gives us a fantastic opportunity in the north of England and with the power of the Weatherbys brand behind us, we are confident of establishing a serious presence. email: email@example.com mobile: 07966 030832 telephone: 01768 877355
Insurance Executive, WH Penrith
It’s great to be back! After Edinburgh and Cirencester, I joined Hamilton & Partners in Newmarket 12 years ago and then transferred to Lycetts’ Edinburgh office to gain further experience of all aspects of private client insurance. As a farmer’s daughter from Lockerbie and a keen point to point rider, I am thrilled to be returning to the north west and to be playing my part in expanding the Penrith office’s portfolio of property and bloodstock clients. email: firstname.lastname@example.org mobile: 07967 975999 telephone: 01768 877355
